Pathfinder

Pathfinder is an easy-to-use multitask decision-support tool which can be used by a broad spectrum of businesses. For example, Pathfinder can calibrate price movements' models to the market data. It can also determine which of the models fits these data best. The product's interface is equipped with a universal template which allows the user to enter a large class of new processes to be analysed. Pathfinder is designed to comply with the requirements under the Basel accord's three main pillars.

As input, the program takes raw market data (in the Excel format) and outputs the parameters of random processes or distribution functions which were selected by the user to simulate the given market information. The program assigns a value of the likelihood function to each of the tested models to identify the most adequate one. Pathfinder is sold as a stand alone application which can be easily integrated into any data processing system. The software is supplied with the open source code so that anyone who uses it can add whatever extra features.
